slittec’s burst-cut knife holder is based on the proven crush-cut principle and has been specifically developed for applications requiring high cutting forces.
Its compact heavy-duty design with a stable swing-arm guide ensures precise knife movement and consistently accurate cutting geometry. An adjustable stroke limiter allows optimal adaptation to different cutting processes.
The integrated fine adjustment enables quick and secure centering of the knife to the support groove.
Thanks to its solid holder body, this knife holder is ideal for cutting tough and resistant materials such as hardboard, leather, synthetic leathers, thick films, or technical plastics — delivering clean cuts even under heavy load.
Razor-blade knife holders

Hot-cut knife holders
Precise cutting and sealing at high temperatures
slittec’s hot-cut knife holders are designed for cutting and sealing temperature-sensitive materials.
As heated pneumatic crush-cut knife holders, they enable clean cut edges and uniform sealing — ideal for applications in film, packaging, and composite material processing.
In the RACCOON model, the heated carbide shoe can be activated pneumatically either independently or in tandem with the crush-cut knife.
The compact design ensures precise guidance of both the knife head and the heated shoe, even at minimal cut widths, allowing accurate results at temperatures between 35 and 750 °C — reliable, safe, and repeatable.
Embossing and knurling knife holders
Precise structures for consistent embossing and knurling results
slittec’s embossing and knurling knife holders are designed for demanding applications in the tissue and paper industries.
Their compact, torsion-resistant construction with a precisely guided swing joint ensures maximum dimensional accuracy and uniform pressure distribution across the entire embossing surface.
The pneumatically driven lever arm transfers the embossing force in a controlled manner to the tool, ensuring a precisely guided contact line with the counter roller.
A universal dovetail clamp enables secure lateral adjustment and positioning of the holder, while an integrated pressure regulator allows the embossing wheel’s contact pressure to be individually adjusted.
The result: reproducible, well-defined surface structures — for precise, clean embossing and knurling on various materials and plies.
